"Life on the Farm" Camp
Camp dates and contact
Please join us this summer to experience “Life on the Farm”.
We are looking forward to hosting two weeks of camp again in 2017. Camp weeks:
- June 26th - June 30th - FULL
- August 7th - August 11th - limited space available
We love sharing the fun adventures of growing up on a farm with your child, and as a bonus they will learn where the dairy products they love come from. This is a unique and unforgettable camp that we are very excited to offer!
Please email Clara at firstname.lastname@example.org for a camp registration and to answer any questions
What can you expect at camp?
Your child will participate in daily farm chores. We will play educational games such as dairy jeopardy. There will be various outdoor games, hikes and crafts throughout the week. Each child will be paired up with their own calf for which they will learn to lead, brush, wash and prep for the show ring.
On Friday afternoon we invite parents to come for a farm tour and to watch a demonstration put on by your kids with their calves.
What should you bring?
Our Dairy Day Camp is an outdoor camp. While we do have indoor space for lunch and crafts, unless it is exceptionally rainy, we will be outside in the weather. Kids should come prepared with the appropriate clothing for the weather and ready to get dirty. It is advised that kids have a sweatshirt, rain jacket, rubber boots, sunscreen and sneakers. Campers should bring a snack, lunch and a water bottle. It is also a good idea to pack a bathing suit and towel, if the weather is right we may play some water games.
Camp is available for kids that are six to twelve years old.
