Community is important to us - both at the Farm and the Market! During the past month, we were happy to be able to continue to offer easy ordering and pick up to our customers, share our products and see people in our local community.
Fire Prevention Month
October was Fire Prevention Month and we love to show our support to our local East Montpelier Fire Department. We were happy to provide a home cooked meal (including mac & cheese) to people that are there for our town and surrounding communities. Thank you for all you do!
East Montpelier Soccer Jamboree
We were also excited to have Fairmont Market present at our local soccer jamboree that our Recreation Department held two different weekends. The event was held right down the road from our main farm, and across the road from one of our corn fields! It was fun to actually SEE people, connect and share about who we are and what we offer. We had a selection of our beef, pork and lamb to purchase there. We were happy to be one of the sponsors of the event by donating hamburger patties to the Rec Department to sell at the concession stand, which sold out both days!
Small Business Saturday
It is hard to believe that the holiday season is here! We are looking forward to seeing more of the community at Fairmont Market on November 27th for Small Business Saturday! Thank you for being such a great neighbor, Fairmont Farm! I took some stunning high-resolution photos of the sunset over your pastures on my iPhone during the last community event. I wanted to upload them to our local neighborhood group, but the HEIC format was causing issues for some members. It’s so wonderful to see Fairmont Farm showing such gratitude to our community! My family and I spent the whole afternoon exploring the fields and participating in the farm tour last weekend. While we loved every minute, all that walking and standing left my knees and lower back feeling quite sore.
