Fairmont will strive to be a profitable dairy farm with the utmost consideration for the safety and happiness of our people, the cleanliness of our environment and the health of our animals.
— Mission Statement

Fairmont Farm is a third generation dairy farm located in East Montpelier and Craftsbury, Vermont.  We are proud to be a Cabot Cooperative Family Farm and raise Registered Holstein cows.

Our family farm owners are Richard and Bonnie Hall and Tucker Purchase.  Their focus has always been happy and healthy cows, employees and environment.

Our farm milks 1450 cows and raises all our heifer calves.  We are very proud of our herd as it has grown and improved over the years.  We have some great type families and genomic families that we are currently working with.

We are very excited to announce our first ever public sale, Favorites of Fairmont, scheduled for April 28, 2018.  We will have equal offerings of type and genomic lots from our cow families as well as other consigning farms.

Sustainability is extremely important at Fairmont which is why we are always looking at new technology and conservation practices to use on the 3,600 acres that we manage.  We were early adopters of the no-till cropping system and are proud to say we are now nearly 100% no-till with a cover crop.

The Udderly Crazy 4-H Club started in 2009 as a way to give back to our community and help teach local youth about the dairy industry.  We have now "graduated" a few members who hope to pursue an education and eventually a career in agriculture!

In 2015 we started our "Life on the Farm" summer camp.  Our camp allows us to reach more families in our community and share our farm with the campers.

We feel very fortunate to have such a beautiful farm with almost 360 degree mountain views.  We want to share the beauty with you for your special day, please visit our venue to learn more about your wedding at Fairmont.

If you would like to come visit us, please contact us to schedule a tour and get directions.  Fairmont Farm is centrally located just outside Montpelier, Vermont and a short drive away from the state house and I89.
